The Writing Process

1.Pre-Writing

   In this stage, you plan what you are going to write. You choose a topic, identify the purpose and the audience, brainstorm ideas, and organize information. It is very important to create an outline in order to organize your ideas.

2. Drafting

   This is your opportunity to write the first draft. Based on your outline, you are going to organize your ideas into sentences and paragraphs. 

3. Revising

   In this stage, you are going to start your editing process. You are going to make changes that will improve your writing.

4. Proofreading

   In this stage, you will fish your editing process by checking for grammatical errors, punctuation, capitalization and spelling.

5.Publishing

    

   Once you have corrected all the mistakes, you will be ready to publish your paper to your audience (teacher, manager, friends, etc.)
